Job Description:
Title: Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
Extensive hands-on experience with networking, routing, and switching technologies.
Strong knowledge of the OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, TFTP).
Proficiency in Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, VLANs, and STP.
Expertise with firewalls, internet VPNs, remote implementation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools.
Understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes such as SLA, and Change/Release Management.
Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy is advantageous.
Certifications like CCNA or CCNP are a significant plus.
Preferred Skills:
Network Firewall and Media (Cisco Firewall expertise).
LAN/WAN Switches/Routers (Juniper).
Educational Requirements:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate
