BJP MLA Pratap Adsad’s Sister Stabbed in Amravati Ahead of Maharashtra Elections.
In a shocking incident just one day before the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, Archana Rothe, the sister of BJP MLA Pratap Adsad, was attacked with a knife in Amravati. The attack took place on Monday evening, and police confirmed the details on Tuesday.
Around 8 p.m., Rothe was traveling in her car when she made a stop in the Satefal Fata area of Amravati Rural. According to police reports, two individuals approached her from behind and attacked her with a knife, leaving her with multiple stab wounds on her left arm.
A police team quickly arrived at the scene to assist her, and an investigation is now underway to determine the motive behind the attack.
Pratap Adsad, who represents the Dhamangaon Railway constituency, has been re-nominated by the BJP to contest the elections. At this time, authorities have not yet revealed the reasons for the attack, and police are continuing their investigation.
